I heard of mixing two different kinds of food together for several reasons..
1. No one food is complete. (nutritious)
2. Some ferrets can grow to be picky eaters and will prefer to starve then have to change to a new food because the old one was out of stock.
3. Some ferrets can develop sensitivities or allergies to chicken, if they are used to different types of foods, then what do you do?
4. Enrichment and variety--different textures and tastes enhance your ferrets experience and enjoyment of their food. Kind of like giving them different
Toys.
